Wild Coast Hike--a visual summary

Halfway through Day One. Just the beginning.

Every night we stayed in rondovals, circular single-room huts. Our hosts would bring us homemade bread and coffee when we first arrived, feed us dinner at 7pm and breakfast at 7am.
Also in the picture is my backpack. What I couldn't fit inside I tied to the outside.

Gorgeous, but walking across those rocks was the worst!

See that trail of people?

Melinda and Sebastian, a German traveler who joined us, on one of the many paths we hiked along the mountain edge.

Australia and South Africa bonding on Night Two.

Night Two: drinking Castle Lager and watching the sun set after spending the afternoon swimming in the ocean.

Our sleeping quarters, Night Two.

This is a picture of how beautiful South Africa is. This is also a picture of a typical day's hike. Perspective.

Hiking along the beach > hiking up and down the hills.

Bonding over candlelight, Night Three.

Ocean meets rocks meets sand.

Stopping for food at the end of Day Four.

Homes in the mountains, a common (and beautiful) sight.
