Our routine on the road:
Wake up early, before the sun rises. Get ready, pack up the car, and have breakfast. Breakfast is either cornflakes with soy milk and honey, or baked beans with pap. Hit the road.
Lunch consists of snacking on the road: bread with peanut butter and honey, apples, digestives, cucumbers and carrots, and crackers.
Do the day's activities and arrive at the next destination by sunset. Set up the tent and start the gas stove. Cook dinner, which is almost always rice and beans with a variety of chopped vegetables.
Plan the next day. We never know what we are doing the next day until the night before. Very loose agenda.
Shower and laundry. Any laundry needing to be done is hand washed in the bathroom sink and laid out to dry in the back of the car. Clothes are usually dry by the middle of the following day.
Sleeping arrangements is one person in the car and two in a very small tent.
